In line with the promotion of intellectual properties and the importance of this issue, the patent office of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs has aimed to hold educational workshops in order to create more technological ideas. “The Patent Study Art” is the title of a workshop that will be held June 11^th, 2020.

Ostad Patent includes valuable strategic and technical information providing suitable data to eliminate technological or production problems and improve products with industrial applications. The information also helps researchers expand their knowledge. Therefore, it is important to know how to study a patent, and this issue will be covered in the mentioned workshop.

Participants in the workshop will learn about the definition of patents and the purpose of registering them, the benefits of using patent information, the importance of disclosing patent information, patent anatomy, how to extract patents, and a practical study.

Participating in this workshop will bring researchers to the knowledge frontier of knowledge to improve the performance of an industrial product. Students and technologists can also learn about the details of the invention and how to make it. Of course, this workshop has advantages for industrial managers and introduces them to new technologies in the desired industry in order to be more advanced by knowing the technological achievements of their competitors.

Another educational course is familiarization with the database of “patent score” held on June 16^th, 2020. In this webinar, an attempt is made to teach the patentscope database as one of the free patent databases.
